Does the sensor need the tape to stay in place? No. According to their manufacturers, glucose sensors, catheters, and patch pumps do not need additional fixation. Our tapes are decorative and not fixation patches: they give the device a design, not extra hold.
What are the tapes made of? Flexible textile material that is breathable, waterproof, and hypoallergenic, without latex, zinc, nickel, or IBOA (an allergenic adhesive). The sensitive versions use particularly soft cotton, while the transparent versions remain almost invisible on the skin.
