The FRIO DOUBLE cooler for insulin “Unicorn” combines a colorful unicorn design with reliable cooling: It keeps insulin and medication safe from high temperatures while cooling completely without electricity, cooling elements, or batteries. This FRIO Double cooler (often called a FRIO double bag or FRIO insulin case) features the unicorn design and holds two insulin pens. This cooler is designed for insulin and GLP-1 pens.

Everyday use
Activate the FRIO Unicorn cooler by placing it in cool water for around 10 minutes; the crystals inside turn into a gel, and the inner bag expands to a height of 3 to 4 cm and feels damp. Then place insulin pens or cartridges in the activated inner bag. For daily use, a brief soak of 3 to 5 minutes overnight is sufficient as soon as you notice that the crystals are becoming firm again. Hand-wash the outer bag in warm water with a mild cleaning product.
Then place the filled, patted-dry inner bag inside the outer bag.
The active FRIO bag works through evaporation and requires air circulation. Follow the enclosed instructions for initial activation and regular rewetting.

How long does it take to ship my Zuckerschmuck® order?
We make every effort to deliver your order as quickly as possible. Your order will normally be sent to the post office by letter, large letter or parcel the same day or the next day after payment has been received.
Attention: Letters may not be accepted by packing stations, so always specify a normal home address with a mailbox as the delivery address.
When paying via PayPal or credit card, the credit to our account is usually made immediately, which means we ship the next day.
