Everyday use
The Tape visually conceals your oval, self-adhesive Dexcom G7 sensor while decorating it at the same time. It also helps prevent clothing from slipping, such as bra straps, or shoes from slipping when applied to the ball of the foot. Want to change your design? Simply choose the next mandala pattern from the pack and switch as often as you like. If you would like to apply the Tape to difficult-to-reach areas such as the back of your upper arm without assistance, we recommend the permanently reusable TapeGuard applicator for Dexcom G7: Apply the Tape to its plastic ring and then place the covered TapeGuard over the sensor.

Can I change the Tape during the sensor’s wear time?
Yes. Press the sensor firmly onto your skin from above and carefully peel off the Tape around the outside. Then pull part of the Tape away from the sensor until an uncovered area becomes visible, hold the sensor firmly there, and remove the rest of the Tape.
Which Tape is right for me?
It is best to try out the different options yourself to see which one feels best and is easiest for you to apply. In our Tape trial sets, you will find all the options for your sensor.
Is the Tape a Dexcom G7 patch?
No, it is not a patch in the medical sense. The Tape is applied over the sensor and gives it a design. Material: medical-grade polyester. It is waterproof, hypoallergenic, and breathable.

Tips for overpatches/tapes for covering
Sticking on and changing the tapes is even easier with our TapeCover protective cap: this permanently reusable plastic part is stuck between the tape and the sensor and ensures that you can easily remove the tape during operation and stick on a new tape.
Tips for border tapes with holes
We have developed our adhesive aid TapeGuard for tapes with a hole: TapeGuard is a small, flexible plastic frame that fits exactly around your sensor and onto which the tape is stuck. Tape and TapeGuard can then be easily stuck on even in difficult areas of the body without any outside help. Can I change the tapes while the sensor/pod is running?
You can easily remove or replace the tape at any time while the sensor/pod is in use: Press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin from above and carefully peel the tape around the outside from the skin. While you continue to press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin with one finger, first pull part of the tape away from the sensor/pod until a sufficiently large area of the sensor/pod without any tape is visible. Press this area of the sensor/pod without any tape with your finger and peel off the rest of the tape.
