Purpose:\n Prontosan acute wound gel is a hydrogel for wound treatment that supports the healing of the skin by laying over the wound and thus generating an optimal moist environment for wound healing. Prontosan acute wound gel is intended for the treatment of minor burns and wounds (e.g. abrasions, cuts).\n\n 2. Features: \nProntosan acute wound gel contains a hydrocolloid with a skin-neutral pH value that supports the creation of an optimal moist environment for wound healing and thus reduces the likelihood of scarring. In addition, Prontosan acute wound gel quickly relieves pain due to its cooling effect. Prontosan acute wound gel is a ready-to-use, clear, colorless and odorless hydrogel. The gel is non-irritating, well tolerated and painless to use. Since it contains neither perfume nor dyes, it leaves no stains on skin or tissue. Prontosan acute wound gel has been dermatologically tested. The very good tissue compatibility of polihexanide and betaine surfactants has been proven over many years of clinical use. As an additional effect to the primary effect, Prontosan acute wound gel is effective against clinically relevant pathogenic microorganisms, including MRE.\n\n 3. Instructions for use: \nFor minor burns and superficial wounds (e.g. abrasions, cuts). Do not use the gel on heavily oozing or infected wounds. Wash your hands before and after treating a wound. Clean and dry the wound carefully before applying the gel. Apply Prontosan acute wound gel carefully (without rubbing) to the wound once or twice a day (two to six times a day for sunburn). If necessary, cover the wound with a plaster or bandage and change it daily. Prontosan acute wound gel must not be used continuously for more than 30 days.\n\n 4. Precautions:\n\u003cul\u003e\n\n\u003cli\u003e For external use.
